Kindling 10kg provides the small, dry timber needed to establish a strong flame before larger firewood is added. Each 10kg bag contains enough kindling to light approximately ¼ tonne of firewood, depending on how often the fire is lit and your burning habits. It is an essential part of a reliable fire-lighting setup and is suitable for fireplaces, wood heaters, fire pits and wood-fired cooking appliances.

The smaller pieces allow air to circulate around the firelighter, helping the flame grow quickly and create enough heat to ignite seasoned hardwood such as Ironbark.

Lighting Tips
  1. Place a suitable firelighter in the centre of the firebox.
  2. Arrange kindling loosely above and around it, leaving gaps for airflow.
  3. Light the firelighter and allow the kindling to burn strongly.
  4. Add smaller firewood pieces first.
  5. Add larger pieces once a stable flame and coal bed have formed.
Storage Information
  • Keep kindling dry and protected from rain.
  • Store off damp ground in a ventilated location.
  • Do not tightly seal damp timber in plastic.
  • Keep away from children, pets and ignition sources until required.
